2. Shopping
At the moment Shap Co-op is unable to assist with telephone orders/delivery.
In Appleby Dowding butchers will be continuing with their van deliveries for meat only. If anyone wants to be added to their list, telephone 017683 52799.
Low Howgill butchers and Stephensons Fruit and Veg have put a system in place for deliveries to the local villages. The system for our villages is as follows:
Orders to be placed before 12 on a Tuesday, deliveries will come out on Wednesday afternoon
You can order by, telephone (017683 51644), email or facebook messenger.
You can order everything from them ie meat, fruit and veg, bread, milk toiletries etc. and they will collect it all from the other businesses in town.
Once they have all the order together they will give the customer a ring back to organise payment over the phone.
They will deliver orders for MM residents at MMVI (the village institute-terrace area) and orders for CR residents at CRVH.
When placing your order please give your name, house name/number and state whether MM/CR drop off.
On the afternoon of delivery you will be able to collect your order OR if you are not leaving your property the support volunteer allocated to you (details on the yellow card pushed through your door) will bring it to your doorstep.
3. Bread to Order
The Ivy Cottage Baker does a delivery service to CR Village hall on a Friday morning. As well as bread he can deliver some fresh local goats cheese in if anyone interested, made in Ravenstonedale at Piper Hole goat farm.
Orders to be placed by Wednesday of each week.

4. The Herald newspaper
Dents already deliver newspapes but the Herald is delivered on a Friday night to CR. If you would like a copy please let Joan Raine know on 715351 or joan.raine@hotmail.com
